Kitchen Manager

Starting Pay Range: $20-$22/Hour

Full Time/Part Time: Full Time

Availability: Must be available to work a variety of shifts including opening, mid, and closing. Must be available on Weekends and Holidays.

We are looking for an energetic, professional Kitchen Manager who is passionate about creating an amazing guest experience. Our Kitchen Manager will oversee our kitchen team that provides all our food offerings in the Center with the goal of providing exceptional service. This position reports to the Food & Beverage (F&B) Manager.

REQUIREMENTS

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Nurture positive working relationships with team members.
  • Weekly meeting with F&B Manager.
  • Execute 5-minute daily shift meeting with team members.
  • Participates in F&B Manager training and works towards ability to assume F&B Manager role when not present.
  • Trains Shift Leads to assume Kitchen Manager role when not present.
  • Trains team members on preparation methods, portioning & presentation.
  • Assists F&B manager with team member compliance of policies & procedures.
  • Assist in food production according to par levels.
  • Assists F&B Manager in execution & speed of service.
  • Assist in inventory counts & ordering according to par levels.
  • Assists F&B in training/compliance of cleaning & sanitation.
  • Comply with operations execution software.
  • Comply with safety regulations & alcohol-related laws.
  • Tips, Food Handler Card, ServSafe certified.
  • Reports to the F&B Manager and has weekly one-on-ones to discuss sales, budgets, operations, and Team Member performance/growth plans.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 1-2 years leadership experience.
  • 3+ years kitchen experience.
  • Personable but professional demeanor.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and to problem solve effectively.
  • Proven ability in leadership, communication, and negotiating skills.
  • Take initiative as a self-starter known to work with integrity while also being a strong team player.
  • Exceptional communication skills, writing skills, interpersonal skills, and ethical mindset.
  • High EQ with self-awareness, ability to collaborate with others, listen attentively, empathize with others, defuse conflict, show adaptability, and demonstrate good judgment.
  • Computer literate with ability to pick up new software programs and applications easily.
  • High School Diploma or GED (Required).
  • Able to lift 35 pounds.
