SR. MANUFACTURING ENGINEER
DUTIES:
Design & implement machine improvements
Manage capital projects and budgets
Directs trouble shooting of pneumatic and hydraulic equipment
Handle multiple projects
Compliance with safety standards
Complete and supervise designs and drawings
Recommend capital equipment or process modifications
Document
Identify and recommend Vendors
Coordinate projects vendors, R & D, and other plant functions
Equipment set-up, start-up, debugging, associated training requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Manufacturing
5 to 7 years’ experience
Must have high speed assembly experience - synchronous & asynchronous assembly platforms
Cam-operated equipment
Pneumatic and servo controlled assembly
Proficiency in mechanical design (AutoCAD AND SolidWorks)
Lean Manufacturing
Six Sigma certification preferred
