Job Description
SNF Memory Care LVN
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Graduation from an approved vocational nursing program required
- Current, active state vocational nursing license required
- Six months to one year of LVN experience preferred, but not required
- Clinic experience preferred, but not required
- Qualified candidates must have strong interpersonal skills, must be able to maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, and effectively communicate and interact with diverse patient populations.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology.
- Familiarity with health care systems, regulations, policies and functions, and documentation standards.
- Knowledge of infectious disease management and control and safety standards.
- Skill in initiating appropriate emergency procedures.
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations for drug doses.
- Ability to handle effectively multiple tasks simultaneously.
