Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and innovative Social Media & Influencer Marketing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong grasp of current marketing tools and strategies and should be able to lead integrated social media and influencer marketing campaigns from concept to execution, within the Abigail's Oven trajectory and marketing model. This role involves promoting our brand and products at local stores and online, with a key focus on collaborating with local influencers and creating a strong, engaged community around local stores that sell our breads.

Pay: $18 per hour

Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy to increase brand awareness, improve marketing efforts, and increase sales.
Establish relationships with local influencers and set up partnerships that align with our brand image and goals.
Engage with customers and fans and their relationship with us daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos, and news) that promotes our breads and our partnerships with local stores and influencers. To discover what customers need and want before they even know it.
The focus will be on observability, actual curiosity, and contribution from fans. Enhance a vision that increases the momentum of this sourdough revolution.
Collaborate with the bakery team to capture authentic images and videos showcasing our baking processes, products, and team for social media.
Measure platform engagement and use data to inform future use of social media.
Stay up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends, and ensure that our approach is relevant and innovative.
Engage with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner, and encourage positive community interaction.
Monitor and report on feedback and online reviews.
Coordinate with us to ensure brand consistency and to optimize the promotion and selling of our products in local stores.

Qualifications:

Proven work experience in social media marketing or as a digital media specialist, with a focus on local marketing and influencer partnerships.
Excellent writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation, and communication skills.
Proficiency in using social media software and tools.
Familiarity with web design and publishing.
Knowledge of online marketing channels and web traffic metrics.
Strong understanding of social media KPIs.
Demonstrated ability to deliver creative content (text, image, and video).
Experience in the food industry, particularly baking, is a plus.
A strong passion for our local community, baking, and food is highly desirable.
