A Senior Influencer Specialist assists in developing social media influencer strategies and campaigns for client brands that grow the brands’ awareness, social media presence and overall engagement with consumers, as well as providing strategic insight to clients/colleagues and mentoring team members.


  • Manage the day-to-day elements of influencer campaigns for clients
    • Build and maintain positive relationships with influencers and talent contacts on behalf of the agency and clients
    • Develop and execute multiple influencer campaigns at a time; develop timelines, manage deadlines
      • Adhere to brand-aligned diversity & inclusion tenets
      • Identifying brand-right influencers based on campaign objectives and desired outcomes
      • Draft, review and oversee legal contracts for influencers
      • Maintain budget for paid influencer campaigns
      • Manage unexpected pivots or changes to campaigns; Identify negative content/risky content generated by partners; take action to minimize impact to the client or bran
    • Craft influencer content briefs that reflect current trends and reflect brand messaging priorities
    • Review influencer content, providing edits for client approval and working with influencers to incorporate feedback.
    • Monitor and analyze program results to provide valuable insights and optimizations; compile thorough and accurate reports
    • Identify real-time engagement opportunities with influencers discovered via social listening; develop proactive pitch for clients to act upon opportunities
    • Delegate appropriate responsibilities to Social Media Coordinators and Influencer Specialists. Supervise junior staff.
  • Assist with building the strategy for and responsible for the execution of multi-faceted influencer programs across key categories, campaigns. Continually work to identify areas of the business that would benefit from investing in influencers efforts.
  • Build and maintain influencer campaign measurement trackers, including inputting influencer content metrics, reporting out on final performance, and analyzing results to help better future campaigns.
  • Assist clients’ social media partners
    • Establish and maintain a positive interaction with and between the brand and brand influencers and consumers.
    • Develop, maintain and update the social influencer brand calendar; develop timelines, distribute/post content, manage deadlines
    • Monitor social channels and manage influencer partners to help drive positive results for brands
    • Identify real-time engagement opportunities discovered via social listening; act upon opportunities
    • Identify negative content/risky content generated by partners; take action to minimize impact to the client or brand
    • Monitor and analyze program results; compile thorough and accurate reports
  • Serve as a client contact
    • Participate in client calls, meetings, presentations and client brainstorms; attend client events
    • Accommodate and anticipate client needs; make appropriate recommendations to clients via emails, memos, presentations and phone calls
    • Respond to requests for information from clients in a timely and professional manner
    • Share relevant articles/trends with clients, along with ways to implement/impact their business
  • Demonstrate proper writing, editing, presentation and interpersonal communication skills, particularly when it comes to client communications (emails, memos, presentations, excel documents), but also with brand partner and agency communication
  • Understand the resources and tools needed to achieve the clients’ social media marketing/PR objectives; complete tasks that meet objectives
  • Build and maintain relationships with social media contacts and influencers on behalf of the agency and clients
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the social media landscape and how to use social channels to drive brand awareness and engagement for clients
  • Participate in agency brainstorm sessions for client programs
  • Assist in compilation of awards presentations
  • Conduct research for new business and business renewal opportunities
  • Develop and foster relationships with suppliers
  • Proficiency in establishing and maintaining a client’s/brand’s social media voice and tone
  • Stay current with developments in social media, current trends, technology updates and top news stories in the clients’ and brands’ spaces
  • Show integrity, attention to detail and good judgment when working with colleagues and clients
  • Deal constructively with client and personnel situations

  • B.A. in Marketing, Public Relations or the like
  • Three (3) to four (4) years of experience managing social influencer campaigns for brands and developing influencer content plans and strategies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Proficiency with influencer management tools (e.g. CreatorIQ)

In order to comply with equal pay and salary transparency laws in various locations, the Company believes the target range of base compensation for this role is $72,000-80,000 annually, and may be eligible for overtime pay. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
