Service Consultant

Automotive Service Advisor (Chelsea, MI) 

Positive attitude and a love for people required! Art Moehn Auto Group is seeking a Service Consultant to join our busy, growing Chevrolet service team.

The Service Consultant will perform the following:

Customer Service : Maintain highest levels of grooming, hygiene, and professional, uniform appearance. Conduct all business with sincerity, honesty, and genuine concern for customers. Promptly meet and greet customers in a friendly, courteous, and outgoing manner.

Service Sales : Sell the proper repair and/or services responsive to the customer's perceived needs. Make a genuine effort to offer the maintenance service due on every service customer's vehicle utilizing proper Service Advisor procedure.

Administration/Communication : Schedule appointments and communicate/follow-up with customers, properly, thoroughly and legibly write the repair orders for the categories of work designated by management. Maintain and update all open repair orders daily. Provide additional vehicle problem/concern information to the technicians and requested. Maintain communications with the technical staff regarding job status changes. Remain continuously updated on the shop's workload to determine the type of work the technicians can quickly accommodate.

Requirements: Must have documented experience providing exceptional customer service in a customer retail environment. Must have verifiable stable work experience, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. Understanding of vehicle systems and operations. Working knowledge of Reynolds & Reynolds a plus.

Hiring Requirements : 18 years of age, valid driver's license, clean driving record, able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
