Maintenance Technician

Established in 1975, Omega Flex is the preeminent international producer of flexible metallic piping products. With over 200 patents registered worldwide, Omega Flex supplies proprietary products for a broad number of applications and markets, which include primary steel production, semi-conductor, medical, pharmaceutical, petrochemical, residential and commercial construction, and power generation.

We are searching for a Maintenance Technician/Mechanic to perform diversified maintenance and repair operations for a broad range of our flexible hose machines that include drawing, forming, welding, helical corrugating operations, tube mills and annular corrugating machines at our facility located in Exton, PA.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain the physical plant, plant machinery, equipment, and auxiliaries. Ensure all machines are in proper operating condition and perform preventative maintenance as scheduled.
• Must possess working experience with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and fluidic repairs and construction operations required for the installation and assembly of all machinery and equipment.
• Must be able to perform diversified and very precise work including analytical troubleshooting and complex maintenance functions.

Schedule: Monday through Friday from 7AM-3:30PM

This is an on-site position, no remote or hybrid work schedule is available. Omega Flex requires successful completion of provided pre-employment testing including a physical, drug test, and employment background for the selected candidate.

Requirements

• The ability to detect faulty operations, diagnose malfunctions and implement needed repairs.
• Strong electrical experience and welding is a plus.
• This position will also have responsibility for maintaining specific records of work performed, details of repairs and material usage.
• Ability to follow directions and procedures.
• Ability to communicate in a clear and professional manner
• Strong math and reading skills
• Experience working with metals
• Must be able to operate drill press, sanders, grinders, band saws, electric drills, circular saws, and related equipment and hand tools.
