Job description

New Pig is looking for a Product Manager to join our New Product Introductions Team. In this role, you will be a critical component of the new product introduction process and ongoing portfolio management within the organization. This role is in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and will offer exciting new challenges and opportunities.
 
Responsibilities
  • Assist the Director of Product Portfolio Strategy in driving product development, design initiatives, and business planning processes
  • Execute product maintenance activities including design changes, specification updates, supplier modifications, product discontinuations, and strategic portfolio adjustments
  • Coordinate project handoffs to manufacturing, quality, sourcing, and other functional teams to ensure smooth implementation
  • Serve as a key point of contact for project-related technical questions, cross-functional meetings, and status updates
  • Participate in product testing, validation, and photoshoots to ensure final deliverables align with engineering requirements and product strategy
  • Assist in investigating product quality concerns, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and inventory-related issues
  • Attend trade shows, customer visits, and field evaluations to gather market insights and support product improvement opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with New Pig’s Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards throughout all projects and processes
 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Materials, or related discipline); equivalent practical experience considered
  • Experience with product development processes, engineering change management, and working within cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to make sound technical and business decisions
  • Demonstrated leadership potential with the ability to drive projects to completion
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and engage effectively with senior leadership
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes, quality systems, and continuous improvement methodologies preferred
  • Ability to work from our Tipton, PA location
  • Willingness to travel as needed to visit vendors and customers. Periodic international travel may be required for large projects.
