Job description

Job Description Summary
The Production Support Specialist will support the daily operations for the wiring department including the following: production daily schedule needs, timesheet and other data entry, organizing and distributing work orders/job packets, and managing nameplates/tags. This position will interact daily with the planning, wiring, inventory, quality, and purchasing teams.
Job Description
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
  • Provide general daily support to the production teams.
  • Work with CBR Production Planner to ensure wiring is organized per the overall schedule for each production line and help maintain coordination between factory and warehouse location.
  • Will be responsible to print and distribute work orders to the team.
  • Provide updates on shortages to Production Planner.
  • Manage nameplates and tags for wiring jobs per the schedule.
  • Enter daily time sheets into SAP for wiring and all inventory personnel who report direct hours.
  • This position will report to the Wiring Supervisor
  • Additional data entry activities and reporting, as requested.
Educational Requirements
High school diploma / GED
Minimum 2 years of data entry and documentation management experience.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in data entry and information management roles.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills essential.
  • SAP experience, preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills required.

The position is first shift with occasional overtime.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel in order to type, the employee is regularly required to walk and work in the production area and test labs. The abilities to talk and hear are necessary to use the phone and communicate about projects with relevant parties. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds in handling fixtures, tools etc. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision so that the employee may read and use a computer.
