Hiring Immediately for Production Maintenance Technician in Cartersville, GA
Inergroup is seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Production Maintenance Technicians in Cartersville, GA.
As a Production Maintenance Technician at Inergroup, you will be an integral part of our operation, responsible for ensuring the functionality, reliability, and uptime of our solar manufacturing lines. Your primary responsibilities will include executing preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, troubleshooting machinery issues, managing parts inventories, and collaborating closely with engineering and operations teams to minimize downtime.

This position offers weekly pay starting at $24.00 - $25.00 per hour and great benefits are available.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on production equipment, including part replacements and rebuilds.
  • Assemble and disassemble tools, modules, and equipment following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Monitor contamination levels and maintain equipment cleanliness to ensure production standards are met.
  • Coordinate with production teams to remove scrapped or stranded wafers safely and efficiently.
  • Prepare and organize preventive maintenance kits to maximize task efficiency and reduce equipment downtime.
  • Participate in shift pass-down meetings to communicate equipment statuses, completed work, and pending tasks.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of parts, consumables, and hardware; notify leadership when restocking is needed.
  • Comply with all safety protocols, environmental guidelines, and health regulations, including wearing required PPE (cleanroom gear, steel-toe boots, safety glasses, masks, and respirators).
  • Work safely at heights above 20 feet using proper fall-protection systems and work in confined spaces when required.
  • Collaborate with other team members and relevant departments to coordinate maintenance activities.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Technical training or experience in mechanical, electrical, construction, plumbing, or related skilled trades.
  • Experience using hand tools and basic mechanical equipment in a factory, industrial, or fabrication environment.
  • Must be capable of standing, walking, and working on equipment for extended periods; able to lift and transport components up to 50 lbs.
  • Willingness and ability to wear all required PPE (including cleanroom gear and respirators; must be clean-shaven where required).
  • Willing and able to work at heights over 20 feet with fall protection.
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, organization, and a firm commitment to attendance and reliability.
