Job description

PURPOSE OF POSITION:
  • To maintain Vision equipment through preventive maintenance.
  • Vision lab, build area, remote office, and inventory organization.
  • To assist Vision engineers and technicians with their duties.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform Vision equipment preventive maintenance.
  • Maintenance to be completed in accordance with maintenance schedule.
  • Maintenance to be performed with adherence to defined maintenance procedures.
  • Maintenance records to be completed and maintained properly.
  • Perform vision equipment verifications
  • Complete scheduled verifications of Vision equipment
  • Maintain accurate records related to equipment verification
  • Maintain Vision lab and build areas
  • Lab and build area clean up and organization
  • Develop systems and procedures for encouraging tidiness and organization
  • Responsible for maintaining and organizing in house Vision inventory

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Support Vision Technician and Engineer groups with any overflow work or projects.
  • Comply with all Company policies and procedures, safety regulations, company safety policies and safely perform all duties, including but not limited to, promoting a safe workplace.
  • Maintain high level of honesty, integrity and confidentiality with respect to company matters.

POSITION DEMAND:
  • Degree-seeking preferred.
  • Basic PC skills are required.
  • Microsoft Office suite proficiency is preferred.
  • Must be available to work overtime as needed.
  • Off shift and Weekend work is required.
  • Two years of Mechanical or Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Good troubleshooting skills preferred.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Maximo knowledge preferred

BEHAVIORAL/VALUES CHARACTERISTICS:
  • Must possess above average interpersonal skills and be a team player.
  • Must be self-motivated and work with minimal supervision.

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
  • This position reports to Vision Group Technician Team Leader.
  • Works closely with Vision Technician and Engineering Staff.
