You will serve as a MAINTENANCE MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the MRO Production Division of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.

Duties
Help

• You will be responsible for applying practical knowledge of ground support (GSE) functions and management of assigned Integrated Product Team (IPT) hazardous waste containment and disposal program.
• You will identify and schedule GSE equipment for preventative maintenance and calibration in addition to performing daily pre-operational checks on various pieces of equipment on a daily basis.
• You will participate in the preventative maintenance planning, development, coordination, improvement, and implementation of procedures governing preventative maintenance of GSE.
• You will coordinate with management and operating personnel in determining and taking necessary action to prevent a recurrence of GSE problems.
• You will coordinate and manage the Calibration Program for the assigned Integrated Product Team, as well as maintaining calibration records on all the assigned tools and equipment.
• You will coordinate special projects with other Integrated Product Teams and staff personnel as well as determine and take necessary action to prevent ground support equipment problems.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• At times, you will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-07) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Managing real property that is federally owned, owned by tribes or tribal members, leased or held, or acquired through default;
2) Granting easements and issuing leases, licenses, and/or permits for public/private use;
3) Conducting inventories, utilization surveys, and/or compliance inspections.;
4) Classifying space or property to determine use; and
5) Analyzing long and short-range property needs.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
- Master's or equivalent graduate degree
OR
- 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
OR
-LL.B. or J.D., if related
