Maintenance Manager

As Maintenance Manager, you will lead a team in overseeing the industrial maintenance of our facilities. Your core skills in maintenance management, electrical experience, and mechanical knowledge will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment. With premium skills in management and facilities management, you will be responsible for implementing maintenance strategies, managing resources effectively, and optimizing maintenance processes. Your relevant skills in project management, high and low voltage systems, and leadership will be instrumental in driving continuous improvement and ensuring the highest standards of maintenance practices. Job Requirements

  • 4-year degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • 6-8 years of experience in Maintenance, Leadership Role Preferred, Manufacturing a plus.
  • Skills in process improvement, decision making, planning, and quality management.
  • Performance and people management skills including delegation, coordination, and coaching.
  • Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
  • Self-motivated and autonomous work skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and a maintenance management software.
Your Contribution

Maintenance Support

  • Manage the utilization of a full capability maintenance management software package to maximize the overall effectiveness of maintenance processes.
  • Confer with management and other department heads to plan preventative maintenance, schedule inspections, and perform equipment overhauls.
  • Provide complete preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to all production machinery and production support equipment.
  • Establish and meet key machine maintenance objectives. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Identifies/Manages Projects
  • Coordinate with contractors to resolve problems in installation of new equipment and to assist in construction or additions.
  • Monitor and control capital budgets for contractor projects.
  • Provide complete project management services on projects as assigned.
  • Identify, negotiate, and monitor contractors and contractor agreements.
Process Improvements
  • Work closely and cooperatively with the general manager, production, engineering, quality, safety and scheduling to identify improvement needs within the overall business plans and objectives.
  • Review technical papers, catalogs, and other reference materials, to select and recommend new equipment, supplies, and maintenance methods to improve plant operations.
  • Manage the effectiveness of the spare parts inventory to ensure maximum parts availability while minimizing inventory values.
  • Supervise the development and management of maintenance techniques to maximize machine utilization and reliability.
  • Use data to determine equipment and cost reduction programs and implement the programs.

Leadership

  • Participate as a member of the site management team and contribute and support site strategy initiatives.
  • Contribute to all departments as needed and participates in interdepartmental projects and initiatives including production, safety, quality, engineering, etc.

Personnel Management

  • Manage all personnel issues for the maintenance department.
  • Maintain the maintenance department's effectiveness by selecting, orienting, and training employees.
  • Maintain maintenance staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees, and by planning monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Communicate values, strategies, and objectives.
  • Provide direct supervision to maintenance technicians and other related positions.
  • Direct and coordinate the activities of workers engaged in the repair of mechanical and electrical equipment.

IMSU/EHS

  • Maintain quality service by defining, establishing, and enforcing organization standards.
  • Identify, comply with, and maintain legal standards concerning environmental, health, and safety.
Performs other duties as assigned.
