Cooling Tower Technician

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cooling Tower Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair cooling towers, and related commercial HVAC equipment. This position services commercial, light industrial, healthcare, manufacturing, and mission-critical facilities throughout the region.

The ideal candidate is safety-focused, mechanically inclined, and experienced in diagnosing and resolving equipment issues while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair cooling towers, chillers, pumps, heat exchangers, and related HVAC equipment.
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance.
  • Identify cooling tower performance issues.
  • Complete service documentation accurately and maintain compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
  • Communicate professionally with customers regarding repairs, maintenance, and equipment recommendations.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to emergency service calls as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; HVAC/R trade school training preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with commercial HVAC, cooling towers.
  • Knowledge of cooling towers, chillers, pumps, boilers, hydronic systems.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work at heights, climb ladders, and work in varying weather conditions.
  • Personal hand tools required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Marley, BAC, Evapco, or similar cooling tower equipment.
  • Knowledge cooling tower maintenance practices.
  • Experience working with BAS platforms such as Johnson Controls, Siemens, Honeywell, or Tridium.

Full-Time | Monday-Friday
Overtime and on-call rotation required.
