) Lincoln Park Healthcare Campus is currently seeking a Maintenance Tech to join our team. A Maintenance Technician is a thorough professional with a practical mind and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines. The goal is to maintain the buildings and common areas in the best possible condition.
Maintenance Tech
  • Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards.
  • Perform repairs on refrigeration, kitchen equipment and other systems
  • Maintain heating and cooling systems to ensure functionality
  • Conduct daily routine maintenance rounds
  • Clean, replace and inspect PTAC and HVAC filters
  • Conduct exterior repair as needed
  • Conduct wall repairs, painting, carpentry etc.)
  • Replace ballast, bulbs and fuses etc.
  • Must be able to complete task with minimal direction

Maintenance Tech Skills
  • Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
  • Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
  • Working knowledge of power tools and hand tools, common appliances and devices
  • Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
  • Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work
  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • Healthcare Maintenance experience a plus
  • must have reliable transportation
  • must be able to work every other weekend
