Customer Service Representative - $19

We are looking for a Customer Support professional to work at a major utility company to assist with customer account inquiries in the Metro Detroit area.

This is a long-term contract position with a starting pay rate of $19.00/hour (benefits are available). 

This position will work a hybrid schedule which will require the selected candidate to come to the office up to 3 days/week. 

Selected candidate will be responsible for

• Accessing multiple internal and external systems to thoroughly investigate damage claims
• Working with tools such as Microsoft Office products (including MS Teams), Power Bi, and Databricks
• Making outbound calls to follow up with customers and other internal business units regarding claim statuses
• May help train entry level customer service specialists or handle other duties as requested

Qualifications 
 

This position requires strong analytical, problem solving, multi-tasking, technical and customer service skills. Some of the tools required are all Microsoft products, Power Bi, Databricks and Teams

• HS diploma or equivalent- Required
• High level of professionalism with the ability to effectively communicate to internal and external customers- Required
• 2-year minimum experience- Required
• Ability to comprehend varied research information- Required
• Ability to understand service systems and legal compliance regulations- Required
• Good analytical ability- Required
• Minimum typing speed of 45 WPM- Preferred
