Chalk Couture, a creativity-driven e-commerce and social sales company, is seeking a creative and dynamic Marketing Coordinator to help showcase our amazing craft and home decor products. This position is responsible for supporting (with the help of an amazing art director, videography team, marketing managers, and product creators) our online community of creators and sellers. This includes implementing content strategies on internal and external social media platforms, helping to produce in-content sales and product training, live product demonstrations, and party-like launch events, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency in community brand experience. This position will help create and publish original, high-quality social content, post ready-made design assets, and administer all Chalk Couture social media accounts and communities.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:   

Marketing Coordinators support Chalk Couture’s overall marketing initiatives, with a specific focus on managing day-to-day organic social media, social updates, and our online community. This position will drive increases in engagement and follower growth in our community and branded channels, in addition to assisting in the execution of brand marketing campaigns. 

 Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Support Chalk Couture’s social community by managing Meta and YouTube organic posts, and administering our Facebook groups, contests, lives, and social engagement.
  • Execute strategic marketing initiatives and activities including writing community posts, coordinating “influencer” content, and supporting email integration
  • Represent the voice of the brand in all of its social networks and communities
  • Nurture online communities via dialogue and engagement
  • Coordinate ongoing influencer editorial content, product features, contests, and live demonstrations  
  • Respond to and report on community sentiment and insight via monitoring posts and comments
  • Collaborate with Customer Service team to ensure top-level experiences and accurate responses across social networks
  • Ensure inquiries via social media are resolved effectively and promptly
  • In conjunction with Customer Service, provide product information and offer order assistance 
  • Monitor brand tags and identify opportunities for collaboration
  • Spot emerging trends in the social landscape and identify social consumption trends
  • Monitor and share competitor analysis
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements (including education and years of experience): 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in content management, community management, marketing, and/or project management.
  • Critical thinker with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, G Suites, monday.com, Canva, Photoshop, HubSpot, Survey Monkey, Meta, YouTube, Zoom, or similar tools
  • Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
