Human Resources Advisor

Our business is growing rapidly and we are looking to recruit an experienced HR generalist to join the UK arm of our People & Culture team to support both our organic and acquisitive growth. You will be based in our beautiful Mayfair offices working with a small, local, team who are part of a wider global People & Culture team. We are looking for someone with a good sense of humour, a “can-do” attitude and who is willing to roll up their sleeves and get involved!

Working with the Global People & Culture Team

As part of the Green Street Global People & Culture team, this is an opportunity for you to apply your experience and further develop your skills in all aspects of organisational development. You will support line managers and colleagues, ensuring consistent best practice and further developing our recruitment profile and brand.

This position spans a broad range of responsibilities and you will need to be an experienced generalist, with practical experience of some of the main HR lifecycle processes and procedures. For example, you will be comfortable coaching managers with performance management procedures, running recruitment campaigns, advising on employee benefits and assisting with change management projects. You will be joining a team of highly experienced and supportive HR professionals and we can promise you a role where no two days are the same!

Responsibilities

• Recruitment – Manage a wide range of recruitment campaigns from start to finish, using associated software and social media.
• Employee Relations – End to end management of performance improvement plans, ensuring the line manager receives guidance and support and that relevant employment law issues are fully considered prior to taking any action.
• Benefits – Advise and answer employees’ ad hoc queries on pay and benefits.
• Projects – Assist the VP, People & Culture with ad hoc change management and employee wellbeing projects.

• Proven experience of effectively coaching and mentoring line managers to reach desired outcomes;
• Solid understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice;
• Practical experience of working on the HR aspects of acquisitions and integrations (e.g. TUPE) will be a bonus;
• CIPD Level 7 or equivalent demonstrable experience.
