Jay Henges Enterprises, Inc is comprised of five operating divisions including commercial and residential flooring supply and installation, commercial and residential insulation supply and installation (in MO and KS), commercial construction/tenant finish and manufacturing of in-plant modular wall systems and exterior prefabricated buildings (Porta-King Building Systems). The Commercial Contracting Division focuses on light commercial construction, office build-outs/remodels and other tenant finish projects. Scope of work will include both conventional construction methods and materials as well as utilization of the Porta-King manufacturing division’s prefabricated construction solutions.
Responsibilities:
1. Utilize in-depth knowledge of commercial construction to effectively communicate the value of our services to potential clients.
2. Manage and grow an existing list of customers, fostering strong relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
3. Leverage existing industry connections to identify new business opportunities and expand our market presence.
4. Conduct thorough market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and potential leads.
5. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and promotional materials for the commercial construction sector.
6. Effectively communicate product features and benefits to customers, addressing their specific needs and challenges.
7. Achieve and exceed sales targets through strategic planning, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
8. Provide regular reports on sales performance, customer feedback, and market insights to the management team.
Requirements:
1. Proven track record in commercial construction sales, with a strong understanding of industry practices and trends.
2. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams.
3. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
4. Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills to address customer needs effectively.
5. Existing relationships within the commercial construction sector, with the ability to introduce our services to potential clients.
6. Proficient in using CRM software to manage customer relationships, sales pipelines, and performance metrics.
7. Willingness to travel locally and meet with clients as needed.

Physical Requirements:
Sitting and Standing: Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer or conducting meetings. Occasional standing may be required during presentations or discussions.
Typing and Computer Use: Proficient use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse for data entry, document creation, and other tasks. Ability to operate other office equipment such as printers and scanners.
Hearing: Ability to hear and communicate effectively in person, over the phone, or through virtual communication tools.
