Job Description

NOW HIRING!!! $20-21/HR

The Customer Service Representative will work to satisfy customer needs and build a strong-working relationship with both external customers and internal teams. They will process and make changes to customer orders and complete required order acknowledgements. This is a “high-energy” position requiring an individual with good planning skills and the ability to stay motivated at all times.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Receive, enter, and monitor inbound sales orders and communicate product availability, ship date, and other components to customer.

· Determine availability of requested product through correspondence with suppliers and/or purchasing agents and requisition product through the proper channels as necessary.

· Respond to customer inquiries such as price, availability, product certification, MSDS, and/or basic technical information.

· Solve customer problems and complaints in a timely manner.

· Manage customer short stocks and back orders that remain in the system.

· Initiate customer return material requests.

· Prepare all customer documentation necessary for shipments and follow process from the start to finish.

· Double check bills for accuracy of count, measure and amount, especially in international shipments, making sure proper amounts are taken out of and put into inventory.

· Support Sellers by providing pricing, product information, and maintaining key accounts.

· Support Credit Department by researching and resolving customer short pays.

· Support Purchasing by making them aware of stock outages and/or customer stock requirements and obtaining COAs and/or MSDS from suppliers.

· Support Warehouse by faxing customer COAs, MSDS or calculating UPS and/or common carrier charges as necessary.

Requirements:

· 3-5 yrs experience

· Manufacturing or Distribution experience preferred

· Must be a strong communicator, both written and verbal.

· Must be detail oriented with excellent follow-up skills.

· Must be highly organized.

· Able to multitask and prioritize.

· Able to work in a team and independently

· Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
