About this Role:

The Talent Development Business Partner (TDBP): Learning and Development will be collaborative in working with all internal partners and deliver a high level of service in meeting the learning and development needs of the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong learning technology and multimedia skillset to design innovative, memorable, effective, and engaging learning experiences. This will include instructor-led facilitation (onsite or through video conference), e-learning, videos, animated modules, simulations, interactive tutorials, and other learning assets. As well as curation of third-party content solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for planning, designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating all education initiatives offered through instructor-led, online, and blended learning methods to ensure the most effective learning strategies to meet organizational goals and objectives.
  • Monitor organizational compliance with all required learning activities for periodic audit and annual exam preparation.
  • Build working partnerships with leaders and act as a trusted advisor on education and engagement matters.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of best practices and external trends for effective learning methods.
  • Responsible for the design and maintenance of procedures, guidelines, processes, and resources to support knowledge management.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of all custom learning programs through tracking, analyzing, and examining learners’ satisfaction levels and proficiency assessments. Follow up and make necessary adjustments to design, as necessary.
  • Manage vendor relationships and oversee vendor performance, conduct vendor screening, and assist with vendor selection for learning and development needs.
  • Catalog, update, redesign and maintain custom content to ensure relevancy, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
  • Design and administer assessments to support defined learning objectives and create metrics to measure the effectiveness of learning courses.
  • Facilitate learning courses for foundational, continuous, and regulatory learning needs.
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to Guiding Star on-the-job trainers, on effective use of materials. Conduct follow-ups as necessary, to assess knowledge retention and application and to provide any needed coaching.
  • Conduct presentations for various groups including executive leadership.
  • Remain updated on new delivery strategies and options and include facets of social and peer learning, game-based learning, informal learning, etc. as needed.
  • Measure return on learning investments by evaluating programs/materials to ensure that the desired learning objectives and goals are achieved.

Who you are:

  • Experience with eLearning content authoring tools preferred (ex Articulate and Vyond).
  • Experience with knowledge base software preferred (ex Confluence).
  • Experience with learning management systems preferred (ex BAI).
  • Experience with leadership development and sales enablement training.
  • Above-average proficiency with MS Office Suite of Products (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Proven planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple and diverse projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability and consistent, logical and effective decision-making.
  • Knowledge of financial operations or experience in a financial institution preferred.
  • Business travel to all branch/operations locations; including, some overnight stays as needed.

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $63,000 - $70,000 annually, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential incentives. This position is also eligible for an annual corporate bonus. If you are hired at USALLIANCE Federal Credit Union, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part is any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth. We also offer a generous compensation and benefits package.
