Body Shop Painter/Prepper

Body Shop Paint Painter/Prepper needed to join our team at Sunset Cadillac of Bradenton's elite Collision Center.

We are in need of one more team member to complete our team. We are flexible and will consider either adding another painter or possibly a dedicated prepper to our 3 full-time painters to complete the team. Paint/prep skills and experience required. We're looking for an experienced painter or prepper who is interested in joining our very busy team to keep our vehicles rolling through production.

Auto Body Painter/Prepper Duties

In this role, you will start or complete the refinish process on a repaired vehicle, which could include:

• Masking, sanding, applying undercoats, mid-coats and top coats.
• Use power tools, paint mixers, paint, cleaning solvents, and waxes as needed.
• Disassembly and reassembly of body panels, bumpers, trim, etc.
• All work completed per estimate and according to I-Car and manufacturer's standards.

Painter Apprentice - Prepper Requirements

• Successful Candidate must be able to take direction and work independently to produce top quality results, take pride in your work, and have a great attitude.
• Collision center experience as a paint prepper or painter is required.
• Must have ability to perform physically demanding work.
• Must have a valid driver's license and verifiable work history.
