Overview:

Arctiq is growing, and we are looking for a Network Engineer. If you're an ambitious, sharp-minded professional eager to advance your career in a challenging role, this opportunity might be the perfect fit for you! You will be responsible for the successful delivery of complex technology-enabled projects and services to Mid-Market and Enterprise customers.  The Networking Engineer will work with clients throughout the solution lifecycle to plan, design, and deploy technology solutions that meet aggressive delivery schedules, complex technical specifications, and high-level requirements.

Role Responsibilities:

• Stage equipment in a lab environment and proficiently conduct functionality tests.
• Ability to take lab-based environment lessons and apply them to a 24/7 production network with a low tolerance for downtime.
• Deploy and support Cisco Enterprise Networking Product lines (e.g. Route / Switch / Wireless / SD-WAN, etc.)
• High-level skills in the deployment and support of network technologies from other vendors within the infrastructure practice domain. (e.g. Extreme, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Aruba).

What will you bring to the role?

• Familiarity with and ability to configure product lines outside of the Network Infrastructure practice.
• Knowledge of network security principles, particularly with Cisco, Palo Alto, and Fortinet firewalls, is desirable.
• Flexibility to work a dynamic schedule, including night-time implementation cutovers for deploying project solutions.

How will you stand out?

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other similar related field and /or5+ years of industry experience in related Practice technologies.
• Excellent collaboration skills, capable of effectively communicating with various stakeholders including manufacturers, customers, engineers, project management, and leadership.
• Strong communication abilities to report progress and engineering outcomes, as well as to articulate issues and recommend solutions promptly.

Desired Certifications:

• CCNP or CCIE Enterprise Networks - Current
• Additional Certifications a plus (e.g. CCNA/CCNP Data Center / Collaboration / Security, Cisco Meraki Support Specialist, Extreme ECS, PCNSA/E, Juniper JNCIA/JNCIS etc.)
