Generator Technician

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (with emergency calls)

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Generator Installer to join our team. The Generator Installer will be responsible for installing and maintaining generators at various client sites. This role requires a strong background in electrical systems, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain generators according to manufacturer specifications.
• Conduct pre-installation site surveys to assess electrical requirements and ensure proper installation.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues with generators and associated systems.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and electrical system inspections.
• Respond to emergency service calls promptly and efficiently.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients regarding installation and maintenance procedures.
• Keep accurate records of all installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.

Requirements:

• Journeyman Electrician certification required.
• Generator Technician certification preferred.
• Proven experience in electrical system installation and maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must pass drug testing and background checks.
