Project Manager - Holland Home

Location: Fully Onsite; Grand Rapids, MI

Schedule: Monday - Friday | No weekends

Shift: Day shift

Hours: 40 hours

Holland Home is seeking a full-timeProject Manager to join our team of professionals! As a key member of the Facility Services Team, you will provide direction on commercial projects for Holland Home and all aspects of Trillium Living.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage multiple projects using project management software from preconstruction to final occupancy.
  • Manage various project team members based on project requirements, timeframes, budget, and skill sets.
  • Prioritize project work and create contingency plans when project control is in jeopardy.
  • Identify, track, manage, and mitigate risk on projects to ensure minimal impact to quality, budget, and timeline.
  • Oversee & manage multiple smaller room renovations starting at $10,000 up to larger commercial renovations under $500,000.
  • Act as an owner's representative on larger scale commercial projects with General Contractor partners.
  • Manage preconstruction processes including but not limited to, preliminary architectural and engineering design, specification development, request for proposals, budgeting, scheduling, and construction implementation using both internal trades staff and external trade contractors.

Qualified candidates will have:

  • Bachelor's or equivalent combination of training and progressively responsible experience that will result in the required specialized knowledge and ability to perform the assigned work.
  • Valid Michigan driver's license and vehicle liability insurance is required, along with a reliable means of transportation.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate within a team, to establish and maintain effective relationships and partnerships.
  • Organizational skills and strong computer skills to effectively utilize project management software to execute projects on time and on budget.
  • Ability to effectively develop projects in the preconstruction phases while simultaneously executing active construction projects.
  • A drive for process improvement and desire for continuous learning.
  • Experience in commercial remodeling, specifically related to health care type settings.
