We are looking for an experienced Purchasing Manager to undertake all aspects of purchasing management, The Purchasing Manager is responsible for executing the supply chain strategy in alignment with overall company objectives. This role involves implementing sourcing best practices, managing cost and service level agreements, negotiating contracts, overseeing vendor selection and management, and mitigating risks through effective hedging strategies for price stability and margin protection.

Job Duties:
- Source new products, collaborating cross-functionally for successful testing and rollout.
- Negotiates prices and contracts with suppliers.
- Builds and maintains relationships with vendors.
- Manages other members of the purchasing team.
- Develops a purchasing strategy and forecasting, inventory management, and supplier capacity.
- Reviews and processes purchase orders, maintains records of goods ordered and received.
- Select prospective vendors and negotiate contracts.
- Evaluate vendors based on quality, timelines, and price.
- Researches and evaluates vendors to compare pricing and services.
- Coordinates with department managers to monitor inventory and determine supply needs.
- Ensures quality of procured items and addresses problems when they arise.
- Stays current with purchasing technology trends and oversees purchase and implementation, as necessary.
Job Requirements:
- Proven work experience in Purchasing and managing a team.
- Thorough knowledge of purchasing principles and procedures.
- Good interpersonal skills; excellent written and verbal skills.
- Exemplary work ethic, integrity, and reliability a Must.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player who works productively with a other departments.
- Negotiation Skills.
- Research and analytical skills.

Education/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration preferred.
- 3-5 years’ experience as a purchasing manager or agent.
- Experience using procurement software and databases.
- Supervisory experience.
- Excellent computer skills
