Business Services Coordinator
- Full-Time
The Business Services Coordinator is responsible for ensuring all paperwork needed to initiate a solar project is complete, accurate, and processed efficiently. The Business Services Coordinator works directly with sales agents, customers, and lender representatives to: (1) complete loan documents and ensure all loan requirements are satisfied; (2) complete the solar project agreement; (3) request funds from lenders and customers after installation.
The Business Services Coordinator is solution-oriented and applies logical and rational decision-making to quickly resolve issues that may slow the revenue cycle process.
Reporting Relationship:
This position reports to Director of Business Operations
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Support sales agents and customers in completing and revising all required lending paperwork and Project Agreements.
- Work closely with financial institutions to request establish, maintain, and close accounts
- Work closely with the field Construction, Construction Operations and Retention teams to ensure projects are advancing and moving to the appropriate stage.
- Request funding from lenders and cash payments from customers
- Prioritize accounts to ensure daily cash flow targets are met
- Create, revise, and process invoices
- Provide information regarding the lending process, loan product detail, and tax credit requirements to customers and sales agents as needed.
- Monitor all accounts and update progress in JobNimbus; keep management informed of delays and escalate issues as necessary
- Compose Project Agreements, guaranteeing compliance with customer specifications, and ensuring timely and precise delivery of all agreements.
- Effectively manage relationships with customers and financial institutions to work through changes or complex lending situations
- Facilitate project agreements by phone, email, or mail and check that orders have the correct prices, discounts, and product numbers.
- Work with customers on loan payment reimbursements as needed.
- Act as point of contact for customers who have questions about their financing, tax credits, etc

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Attention to detail with a capacity to review large amounts of data for accuracy

- Prioritize and meet deadlines while delivering high quality work
- Learn quickly and adapt to change management within processes and applications
- Must be able to work Wednesday- Sunday schedule.
Education/Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience in accounting, finance, and/or bookkeeping
- Understanding of solar financing preferred
- Intermediate computer skills required (i.e., Microsoft, Google)
- Basic knowledge of business applications
