Job Description

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER (PT)- COMMERCIAL TOWNSHIP The Township of Commercial is accepting applications for Chief Financial Officer & QPA. Experience with Edmunds and Excel proficiency preferred. NJ CMFO required. Mentoring with current CFO. Current budget of 4.4 million. The CFO is primarily responsible for the management and oversight of all financial activities and operations performed by the Commercial Township government. Specific duties include, but are not limited to, accounting and maintenance of the general ledger, annual budget preparation, audit, bank reconciliations, capital budgeting, cash management, debt management, financial reporting, issuance of bonds and notes, monitoring expenditures and revenues, payroll, state pension and benefits processing and applicant should have governmental grant accounting experience.
