Position Summary


The Marketing candidate will be an integral part of the Coho team.  Marketing supports almost all aspects of the firm with special projects while its main priority is to provide relevant, timely, error-free marketing resources for Coho’s Distribution Team (Outreach and Client Relations).  This deadline-driven, highly visible role will be primarily focused on assisting with all marketing-related responsibilities such as writing content, designing graphics, managing e-marketing campaigns, completing requests for proposal (RFPs), and maintaining data and standard responses for use in RFPs and due diligence questionnaires.  The candidate will also work closely with Compliance to ensure all deliverables are factually accurate and in line with all regulatory requirements.  In addition, the Marketing candidate will be expected to participate in special projects and other process improvement initiatives.  Depending on company and individual performance, there is potential for growth in this role for the successful candidate.

 

Responsibilities


Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:


  • Support multi-media marketing initiatives by developing designs including brand assets, print collateral, web materials, video, and data visualizations that are innovative and consistent with the overall brand
  • Draft and edit written content for corporate marketing purposes such as professional biographies, press releases, standard questionnaire responses, and firm updates
  • Create/modify technical charts and graphs with strong attention to detail
  • Update marketing collateral such as fact sheets and presentation materials (primarily using InDesign and PowerPoint) on a quarterly basis
  • Design, create, test, and deploy mass email communications using iContact and SalesForce
  • Draft and coordinate responses to new business Requests for Proposal (RFPs)
  • Organize and maintain a database of standard written responses for use in RFPs and due diligence questionnaires
  • Update and maintain third-party industry databases with quantitative and qualitative content on a firm and strategy level
  • Edit, update, and maintain multiple websites using WordPress
  • Plan and execute webinar events
  • Update and maintain spreadsheets that supply data for marketing collateral
  • Maintain a collaborative, problem-solving, positive working relationship with internal clients
  • Ensure all deliverables are compliant with industry regulations and best practices and adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Assist with special projects as needed

 

Qualifications/Skills:


  • Up to five years of proven experience (recent college graduates are encouraged to apply)
  • Marketing, writing, graphic design experience strongly preferred; experience in financial/investment industry is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Marketing, English or Communications major preferred
  • Strong writing and proof-reading skills
  • Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (with particular emphasis on InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat)
  • Creative, “outside the box” thinking coupled with the ability to approach challenges with an analytical perspective
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines, balance multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality work on time
  • Competence in MS Office (particular emphasis on Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Deep intellectual curiosity and commitment to continual learning and development; eagerness to learn new technologies and existing marketing platforms (SalesForce, iContact, WordPress)
  • Excellent communicator with proven ability to clearly convey ideas and data in written and design formats
  • Effective listening and information-gathering skills for defining deliverables, needs, and outcomes
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with a wide range of individuals
  • High attention to detail and readily adaptable to changing project requirements and timetables
  • Experience in web design (WordPress) and video editing will be advantage
  • Position is currently hybrid, but this could be subject to change. Candidates must be located in the Philadelphia area and be able to commute to the office when required
