Summary:
As a leading restoration company in the construction industry, we are seeking a dedicated Senior Rebuild Laborer to join our team. This role is pivotal in executing our mission of restoring and rebuilding properties affected by water, fire, and mold damage. The successful candidate will bring a blend of technical skills, leadership, and a commitment to quality workmanship, playing a crucial role in our on-site operations and ensuring projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
Duties:
- Project Execution: Perform high-quality reconstruction tasks, including demolition, carpentry, drywall installation, painting, and finishing work, as per project specifications.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce company safety policies and OSHA standards on the job site.
- Material Management: Oversee the inventory, ordering, and delivery of materials required for each project, ensuring timely availability.
- Equipment Maintenance: Manage and perform routine maintenance on construction tools and equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
- Client Communication: Serve as a point of contact for clients on-site, addressing concerns, providing updates, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of work performed, rectifying any issues to meet or exceed quality expectations.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of project progress, incident reports, and timekeeping.
- Training: May train and mentor junior laborers, promoting skill development and adherence to best practices.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with rebuild manager and subcontractors to develop timelines and ensure that deadlines are met.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve on-site challenges, utilizing expertise to ensure projects stay on track.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in construction or a related field, with a proven track record in restoration projects.
- Certification: Certifications in construction, safety, or specific restoration areas preferred.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with team members, management, and clients.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work in various environmental conditions.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using construction tools and equipment.
- Safety Knowledge: In-depth understanding of OSHA safety guidelines and regulations.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or on emergency call-outs as needed.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
