Systems Administrator

Responsibilities:
- Configure, update, and maintain Windows servers.
- Administer Microsoft Office 365 and Azure environments.
- Install equipment at various hostel properties, including rack systems, servers, desktops, security cameras, wireless access points, and power units.
- Maintain and enforce technology policies, best practices, and procedures as determined by the Chief Digital Officer.
- Assist with administering corporate network as needed such as firewalls, routers, wireless access points, etc.
- Provide 2nd tier help desk support as needed including but not limited to desktop support, troubleshooting devices such as printers, fax machines.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline preferred. Experience will be considered in lieu of education.
- 5+ years supporting and acting as Windows Administrator required, including Windows server setup, deployment, and maintenance.
- Must have experience supporting multiple locations remotely.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills required.
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office products, including Excel.
- Strong problem-solving skills, resourceful, with a proactive approach.
- Ability to work independently, and as part of a larger team.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to adjust and set priorities to meet deadlines.
- Willing and able to work remotely or to work from designated locations as requested.
Physical requirements of the job:
Hearing and vision correctable to within normal ranges is essential for normal conversations, receiving technical information, and preparing or inspecting documents. The ability to sit or stand in front of a computer for extended periods of time, as well as the ability to move about the office and travel to different locations is required. Must also be able to position self to maintain equipment, including squatting and bending to access equipment under tables and desks. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Good manual dexterity required to use and install equipment
