Role: IT Systems Analyst Senior

Location : Piscataway, NJ / Erie, PA

POSITION SUMMARY:

The IT Systems Analyst Senior is responsible for analyzing basic to moderately complex systems and programs/applications to evaluate where improvements can be made to enhance systems design and performance.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

โ€ข Creates moderately complex artifacts (e.g., documentation, data flow diagrams, context diagrams) that are used in the design, development, and implementation of new systems and system enhancements.

โ€ข Evaluates and makes recommendations of basic to moderately complex designs including identification, investigation and validation of business and/or technical problems. Facilitates design review sessions to validate solutions.

โ€ข Reviews system capacity, data archiving and retention needs.

โ€ข Participates in the definition, development and system design decision improvement processes.

โ€ข Reviews new products and vendors, and provides comparison reports and overviews for IT Management.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS/ABILITIES:

โ€ข Advanced excel knowledge, including the ability to write formulas utilizing Vlookups

โ€ข Attention to detail is critical, this analyst will be writing requirements that affect rates

โ€ข Excellent communication skills

They will serve as the liaison between multiple Business and IT teams

โ€ข Familiarity with ADO and writing requirements in Gherkin format

โ€ข Ability to read and interpret XML and Splunk usage

โ€ข Rating knowledge is a plus

โ€ข Ability to read and interpret C# code is a plus but not necessary

โ€ข Proactive mindset and ability to react quickly to support a SCRUM team
