Outbound Sales Center Representative

Scope of Position

An omnichannel distributor of light equipment for the automotive collision industry is looking for an experienced Outbound Sales Center Representative to join their growing team. You will be responsible for working with a variety of customers through multiple communication channels answering questions, troubleshooting account issues, helping with product purchases, and more.In this role, you'll gain exposure to multiple areas of the business and be a liaison amongst various departments. Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills are a must.

Responsibilities

• Make sales or recommendations for products or services that may better suit customer needs
• Answer or make calls to customers to learn about and address their needs, complaints, or other issues with products
• Respond efficiently and accurately to callers, explaining possible solutions and ensuring that customers feel supported and valued
• Build lasting relationships with customers and other call center team members based on trust and reliability
• Utilize software, databases, scripts, and tools appropriately
• Understand and strive to meet or exceed call center metrics while providing excellent and consistent customer service
• Take part in training and other learning opportunities to expand knowledge of the company and position
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures
• Be a proactive liaison between various departments and stakeholders, internal and external
• Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service, active listening, verbal, and written communication skills
• Understanding of company products, services, and policies
• Proficiency with computers, especially with CRM software, and strong typing skills
• Strong time management and decision-making skills
• Adaptability and accountability
• Ability to work well in a team setting and independently
