Job Summary

We are seeking a Director of Sales and Marketing to join our team! As the Director of Sales and Marketing, you will be responsible for the planning and execution of marketing activities, participating in team brainstorming sessions, and owning the outcomes of marketing campaigns.
Lead teams to achieve the company's desired revenue such as extensive product knowledge, crafting effective sales pitches, business acumen, strategic prospecting, relationship building and negotiation. The director will have a sales and business development skill set that leads sales and marketing and analyzes market requirements, identifies new opportunities and improves existing sales goals.

You will also be responsible for budgeting for the team, conducting performance reviews of your staff, and presenting reports on effectiveness and new marketing campaigns to upper management and stakeholders. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in marketing, demonstrated experience leading a team, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Must have a keen interest in working with Police and First Responders

Responsibilities
  • Develop strategic objectives related to sales and marketing functions.
  • Creating a lead development "pipeline" - management of CRM leads status and creating a predictability of sales closure (financial forecasting)
  • Creating a life cycle of sales closure up and including repeat usability
  • Build initiatives for establishing a brand and corporate identity.
  • Develop marketing plans, such as promotional events and product launches.
  • Create and maintain sales and marketing budgets.
  • Research the market, understand customer requirements and analyze trends.
  • Offer expert advice for advertising campaigns and PR activities specific to strategies for each service line (HS vs On-Site).
  • Establish partnerships to increase sales and collaborate with media platforms.
  • Coordinate with the HR department to hire and train staff.
  • Network and socialize with important clients to ensure sustained patronage.
  • Identify new marketing opportunities.
  • Setting revenue generation standards for current sales staff (i.e. expectations on monthly, quarterly, and/or yearly results) - revision of any necessary bonus structures/incentives
  • Generate and present reports on new marketing initiatives or current marketing projects to upper management and stakeholders
  • Assist the marketing team with perfecting campaigns and marketing materials, ensuring a clear, cohesive message is being presented
  • Work closely with other departments to stay up to date on the company, trends, and people


Qualifications
  • Previous marketing experience
  • Demonstrated ability to build brands and brand awareness
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong understanding of the current marketing landscape
  • Ability to multitask and shift priorities as needed
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
    Sales and business development experience
  • Experience with search engine optimization

Job Requirements

  • 5-10 years sales and business development experience
  • Computer skills- CRM, G Suite, Excel/ Google sheetsExpertise in a variety of social media platforms-linkedIn, IG, YouTube (internally sourced content), Facebook, etc.
  • Bachelor's in business administration, communications, sales or marketing. Prefer candidates with a master's degree in business administration (MBA).
  • Previous experience working with First Responders - Police, Fire, EMS a plus.

Compensation: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
