The Inn at Perry Cabin is seeking a passionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated Guest Experiences Manager who has a profound interest in recreational activities and wellness, a strong desire to build industry knowledge, and a drive to meet the highest standards in our profession.

In this position, the Guest Experiences Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of activities and the management of contractors in the implementation of recreational and social programs for guests of all ages, while providing a safe and clean environment. This management position will oversee the pool attendants in addition to activities or recreational attendants. Primary responsibilities include:

Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• Passionate about developing the crew: coordinates selection, training, development, coaching and evaluations.
• Sets high standards of execution of guest activities and interactions
• Works with contracted personnel as well as directly implements recreational programs to include individual and team activities, indoor and outdoor games, and special programs for guests
• Issues and maintains inventory for recreational equipment and supplies
• Manages all pool activities
• Responsible for the creation and implementation of recreational programs and coordination of social events.
• Manages all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible.
• Thrives in a changing business environment and leads the team in ensuring efficient financial management of the business.
• A memorable, creative leader who successfully operates in a space free from a traditional box.
• Assist in other areas as needed.

Preferred qualifications:

• Two years prior experience in customer service in a high-paced, detail-oriented position
• Two years supervisory experience
• Some knowledge of recreational programs, individual and team sports including rules and equipment use
• Some knowledge of sports safety requirements
• Ability to work with others
• Ability to communicate both orally and in writing
• Ability and willingness to work outside in adverse weather conditions
