What does a Machine Operator - 2nd Shift do?

As a Machine Operator at Jetpack Shipping, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our machinery. We are seeking a reliable individual with a sharp eye for detail and a commitment to upholding safety standards. On-the-job training will be provided to enhance your skills and knowledge, so a willingness to learn and improve is essential. Collaboration is key in our team-oriented environment, making it important for you to be a strong team player.

You will be responsible for assisting in setting up new products, documenting parameters, and configuring equipment for production runs. A keen attention to detail is crucial when documenting ingredients and operating equipment according to manufacturing instructions to ensure high-quality output efficiently.

Upholding food safety standards and promptly reporting any issues is essential. Additionally, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, promoting awareness of food safety and quality, and completing checklists for equipment and utilities are key duties in this role. Responsibilities and Job Duties:

• Assist on setup of new product; documenting all parameters and settings needed to run production.
• Set-up of equipment for production.
• Responsible for reporting all major or minor food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
• Promote food safety and quality awareness throughout the organization.
• Retrieve stage accurately verify formulas and lot numbers and document ingredients us in Capsule batches.
• Operate Capsule equipment according to product manufacturing instructions to produce high quality products in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
• Thoroughly clean, sanitize, and organize workspaces and shared facility areas as directed to maintain an efficient and high-quality manufacturing operation and environment.
• Complete and submit prescribed daily and/or weekly checklists of key facility equipment and utilities to ensure consistent and effective operation of manufacturing processes.
