What You’ll Do
- Own your lines: hit daily production goals while meeting product and quality standards.
- Handoff with the prior shift: review machine status and discuss performance before you take over.
- Run and adjust equipment to standard; complete preventative maintenance and escalate issues promptly.
- Audit quality on containers; document any problems or machine adjustments.
- Maintain raw material levels for assigned equipment and keep machines and surrounding areas clean.
- Follow plant job specifications and task lists.
- Model safety: wear PPE correctly and follow all safety protocols and policies.
- Support housekeeping tasks as assigned by your Supervisor.
- Be ready for assigned shifts, overtime, and after-hour meetings as needed.
- Pitch in on other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
Food Safety—Non-Negotiable
- Verify that all inbound/outbound products meet food safety and quality standards.
- Follow company food safety and QA procedures; record data accurately at all times.
- Sanitize all product-contact surfaces after each job.
- Report any product or process failures that could impact food safety of manufactured product to Quality and/or Line/Maintenance Supervision.

What You Bring
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 1–2 years of relevant manufacturing experience and/or training preferred
- Background in plastics or packaging is a plus
- Working knowledge of computer operating systems
- Proficiency in: Troubleshooting Skills; Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills
Physical Demands & Work Setting
- Physical Demands: Frequently lift/carry up to 50 lbs; close vision required. Regularly sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. Frequently stand and walk on concrete. Occasionally reach with hands and arms and stoop, bend, or twist. Occasionally push, pull, and/or move materials.
- Work Environment: Typical manufacturing setting with moderate to high noise; hearing protection required.
