Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations to ensure the highest standards of quality, service, and cleanliness are maintained.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business goals and drive revenue growth while maintaining profitability.
• Hire, train, and motivate a high-performing team of employees, including managers, chefs, servers, and support staff.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics, including sales, expenses, and labor costs, and take corrective actions as needed.
• Establish and enforce operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company standards, and industry best practices.
• Foster a positive work environment and culture of teamwork, professionalism, and customer service excellence.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and community partners to enhance the restaurant's reputation and drive customer loyalty.
• Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a timely and professional manner, striving to exceed guest expectations.
• Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
• Represent Maü Miami at industry events, networking functions, and promotional activities to promote brand awareness and growth.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• At least 5 years of progressive experience in restaurant management, including leadership roles in high-volume, upscale dining establishments.
• Proven track record of success in driving business results, managing financial performance, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate employees to achieve their full potential.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, including food and beverage service, kitchen management, and front-of-house operations.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the demands of the business.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and restaurant management software.

Requirements:

• ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Alcohol Awareness Certification (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol) (or willingness to obtain).
