Field Technician
Main Points
- On site position in Homestead, FL
- Pay: 13hr.-15/hr.
- Must pass drug and background test
- Position will consist of you riding around golf cart to clean and take pictures of material
- Good portion of time in warehouse environment
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Mount specimens and place them on exposure
- Wash or polish specimens on exposure
- Remove specimens from exposure and deliver them to the designated department
- Remount existing test specimens when necessary (after removal, for repair of racks, or to improve exposure)
- Perform Field Checks to ensure tests are exposed correctly
- Assist in field maintenance (repair, cleaning, painting, lawn care, etc.)
- Other duties as required or necessary
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Manual dexterity and ability to work with tools.
- Capable of lifting moderately heavy (50+ lbs) or awkwardly sized objects
- Ability to read and understand complex test instructions
- Comfortable working outside for extended periods
- Capable of driving an electric golf cart
