Controller

Tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Monitors and oversees all accounting operations
• Analyzes complex data and financial information
• Responsible for the company’s financial and accounting procedures and reporting
• Prepares monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for all entities
• Reconciles all accounts receivable and payable and prepares journal entries
• Establishes and maintains cash controls, reconciles bank statements and general ledgers for all entities
• Supervise payroll process on weekly basis, enter necessary journal entries
• Produces annual budgets and forecasts; reports significant budget variances to management
• Maintains corporate financial reports
• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements
• Works with third parties to ensure timely preparation, review and filing of tax returns for all entities
• Maintains the company’s financial and accounting filing systems
• Leads analysis and integration of technology to optimize business management and performance
• Perform other related duties as assigned

• BS or MBA in Accounting, CPA a plus
• Strong business and financial acumen
• 5 or more years of broad-based financial and accounting experience, previous supervisory responsibilities
• Strong analytical/problem-solving abilities; detail-oriented, timely and accurate
• Strong proficiency in accounting software systems, payroll procedures and Office 365.
• Recent experience with QuickBooks Desktop and ADP helpful.
• Excellent communication, team player, time management and organizational skills, including the ability to present information in a clear and concise manner.
