Job Summary: Supports program operations and processes and provides support to the program staff.
Essential Job Functions:
Provide all administrative support to the program team by answering phones, scanning, faxing and mailing items, sorting mail, typing correspondence, etc. Schedule meetings and coordinate calendars.
- Coordinates and tracks program related travel.
- Ensure program files and databases are kept up-to-date.
- Prepare and format information for internal and external distribution including writing memos, compiling data for reports, creating computerized presentations, writing reports, editing, proofreading, etc.
- Manage and communicate information to members of the program team.
Required Skills:
- Maintains confidentiality, understands sensitive materials and demonstrates professional judgment.
- Organizes and maintains effective file and tracking systems for program; Maximizes office productivity through proficient use of appropriate software applications.
- Manages administrative correspondence; Composes and types routine correspondence. Prepares outgoing mail and correspondence, including e-mail and faxes
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Maintains contact with customers and outside vendors related to managing office supply inventories.
Required Education/Experience: 1-2+ years of office management/supervisory/ experience in a professional services environment. PC skills needed include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Ability to work with confidential information. Experience with ordering and RMAs and credit card purchasing.

Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires U. S. Citizenship status with ability to obtain a SECRET to TOP SECRET security clearance. Security Clearance requirements will be specified in the Government's Task Order.
