Senior Program Manager (Aerospace/Defense Exp. Req.) Description

Our client in the space & defense industry seeks a Senior Program Manager to add to their team in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. As an individual contributor, you'll report to the General Manager, overseeing diverse projects, strategic initiatives, and product development for cutting-edge equipment. The ideal candidate will possess prior aerospace and defense program/project management experience and are well-versed in handling multiple projects concurrently. Success requires high motivation, organization, drive, and collaboration while maintaining confidentiality. Senior Program Manager (Aerospace/Defense Exp. Req.) Responsibilities

• Oversee product development programs for the aerospace and defense sectors
• Define scope, deliverables, resources, and budgets for new product developments
• Formalize the company’s project management and documentation standards
• Collaborate with functional leaders, coordinating program execution
• Manage program teams for optimal ROI and coordinate cross-project initiatives
• Identify key requirements for internal teams and external vendors
• Oversee project budgets, ensuring accountability for successful delivery
• Address risks and opportunities across multiple projects and update stakeholders
• Conduct weekly meetings with project leads
• Manage resource allocation and update project schedules
• Meet with leadership monthly to report on program status

Senior Program Manager (Aerospace/Defense Exp. Req.) Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required
• 5+ years of program management or senior-level project management experience is required
• Extensive experience related to aerospace or defense is required
• Prior experience working closely with engineering teams is required
• U.S. Citizenship & willingness/ability to secure future U.S. security clearance is required
