Job Description

Position Responsibilities for Dispatch / Logistics Coordinator:

Dispatch all jobs to drivers quickly and accurately.
Properly manage and coordinate driver availability as work dictates.
Work closely with drivers (this includes assigning new jobs, obtaining charges and handling any driver problems)
Communicate with Control Towers, with status updates as required.
Work closely with Dispatch staff
To undertake any other reasonable duties/responsibilities at the request of the management team.
Responsible for shipping/receiving duties when applicable.
Document and escalate all problems/situations as per company policy and procedures.
Report vehicle accidents/driver incidents immediately to Supervisor/Manager/HR.
Schedule and manage vehicle repairs and equipment.

Position Qualifications for Dispatch / Logistics Coordinator:

Great customer service!
Demonstrate Ability to identify and solve problems.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Great Time Management: The ability to organize and mange multiple priorities
Computer Proficiency
Be willing to learn international & domestic airline routings, geography and time zones
Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays
