ABOUT WINSTON WATER COOLER
Winston Water Cooler is a growing plumbing supply distributor supporting contractors and job sites across the region. Our Dallas distribution center plays a critical role in ensuring materials get where they need to go, on time and without disruption. We're looking for an experienced Delivery Dispatch Coordinator to manage day-to-day truck dispatching and keep operations running smoothly.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is responsible for coordinating daily truck deliveries, managing driver communication, and ensuring orders are dispatched efficiently and on time. This is a fast-paced, real-time operations role where priorities shift throughout the day. Urgent, same-day delivery requests are common, and success in this role requires the ability to adjust quickly, make decisions on the fly, and keep things moving. This is not a sit-back desk job, we're looking for someone who stays engaged, communicates constantly, and takes ownership of daily execution.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Dispatch drivers for daily delivery routes ("Our Truck" operations)

  • Handle urgent and same-day delivery requests, adjusting routes in real time

  • Communicate with drivers throughout the day to manage timing and changes

  • Coordinate with warehouse team to ensure orders are staged and ready

  • Prioritize deliveries based on job site needs and customer urgency

  • Monitor delivery progress and proactively resolve delays or issues

  • Maintain clear communication between drivers, warehouse, and internal teams

  • Support load planning and route efficiency

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • 2-5+ years of experience in dispatch, delivery coordination, or logistics

  • Experience in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
