Target Pay Range: $200,000-$250,000/year depending on level of relevant experience and qualifications

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist in establishing and maintaining accounting and operational controls in all aspects of financial planning, reporting, revenue recognition, expense management and effective measurement and control over all assets.
• Develop and maintain standard production cost models (labor tool), perform audits to determine accuracy.
• Provide financial support to all departments and assist them in areas of purchasing, inventory, costing, budgeting and understanding of financial statements.
• Extensive standard cost variance analysis, reporting and support including but not limited to:
o Purchase price variance, yield variance, efficiency and rate variances, fixed and variable overhead spending.
o SKU and customer mix analysis, ASP analysis, and contribution margin analysis
• Effective communicator with ability to develop and explain dynamic reports and analysis.
• Lead the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Prepare financial analysis to support capital expenditure requests (CAR’s) including the gathering of appropriate documentation and calculation of payback periods and ROI’s.
• Ensure acumen and control in business decision making, where value creation and cash generation is always considered.
• Perform audits of plan business units to ensure accurate standard costs and yields in bill of materials.
• Manage Cost Accounting and Data Management Team
• Develop and implement written financial policies and procedures.
• Implement best practices for financial management, promoting efficiency and effectiveness.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, or related field
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in financial management experience
• Proven leadership and managerial experience
• In-depth knowledge of financial reporting, accounting principles, and regulatory compliance
• Food Manufacturing/Distribution experience preferred
• Experience with policies and procedures implementation
• Experience with system conversion
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
