About the Role:

Crosstown Real Estate is actively seeking an experienced and professional Managing Broker to lead our real estate team. This full-time role involves overseeing our brokerage operations, building and training a high-performing team of real estate agents, and actively participating in our expansion efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all brokerage operations at our Homer Glen and potentially our new Morris location.
• Build and lead a team of real estate agents, pushing our team size towards and beyond the 200 mark (currently at 130).
• Train agents to maximize their potential and performance in sales.
• Focus on recruiting top talent, with significant incentives for each successful recruit.
• Engage in sales activities with a fair 50/50 commission split, without restrictions.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.

What We Offer:

• A base salary of $40,000 annually, with substantial recruitment incentives ($2,500 per recruit).
• Opportunities for profit sharing and partnership in future expansions after the first year of proven performance.

$100,000+ at plan yearly

• Assist with marketing materials for agents and creative online and social media promotion to increase real estate sale
• Cooperate with the leadership team on a retention strategy to ensure we keep our top-performing real estate agents
• Manage all aspects of the brokerage including the company’s MLS listings and overseeing all real estate transactions the agents are involved in
• Be sure that state and national Fair Housing and real-estate laws and all company policies and procedures are being followed by the brokerage and all agents
• Grow the brokerage office by recruiting new realtors that will make excellent team members

• Working knowledge of the real estate industry and of all state and national Fair Housing and real-estate laws to ensure our brokerage is in compliance
• Must have a managing broker’s license
• Strong leadership and management skills to effectively lead a successful real estate team
• Over 3 years as an actively practicing licensed real estate agent
• Unparallelled communication and customer service skills
