Overall Responsibilities:
The Vice President of People and Culture is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of a comprehensive internal talent management program that attracts, develops, motivates, and retains a high-performing and diverse workforce.
The VP will provide leadership and strategic direction for all aspects of HR, including employee relations, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, training and development, performance management, and organizational development and culture.
The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with a passion for cultivating talent, driving employee engagement, and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive people and culture strategy that supports the organization's mission, values, and business objectives.
- Lead recruitment efforts to attract top talent, develop innovative strategies for employee retention, and oversee onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
- Design and implement programs for professional development, career advancement, and succession planning to support employee growth and enhance organizational capabilities.
- Establish and maintain performance management systems, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and feedback mechanisms to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
- Oversee compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitive and equitable pay and benefits.
- Develop initiatives to enhance employee morale, motivation, and satisfaction, including employee recognition programs, wellness initiatives, and opportunities for social connection and collaboration.
- Lead change management efforts to support organizational growth, transformation, and adaptation to evolving market conditions and business priorities. This includes development initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of the organization.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across the organization, fostering a culture where all employees feel valued, respected, and empowered to contribute their best.
- Oversee day-to-day HR operations, including compensation and benefits administration, HRIS management, policy development, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Nurture a positive and inclusive organizational culture characterized by transparency, trust, collaboration, and open communication at all levels.
- Maintain knowledge of HR laws and regulations and ensure compliance with legal requirements in all countries where IAAPA has team members.
- Oversee a team with several members around the world.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualification, Knowledge, Skill Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in human resources, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful people and culture strategies in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Strong understanding of best practices in talent acquisition, employee development, performance management, and DEI.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire others at all levels of the organization.
