Job Description

BCBA Licensed Behavior Analyst with Virginia license for a part or full time position serving children and families living with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Most services and work time is spent in the homes with the clients.

This position is flexible for the right candidate for either part time or full time. LBA supervises our RBTs and individuals in coursework to sit for their BCaBA or BCBA board exams. Direct work with parents and clinical coordination included in job responsibilities. Owner/clinical director with many years experience and maintains caseload as well. Extremely experienced and supportive team of LBAs.

Use of company laptops, materials, assessments, et al. for all employees. Benefits available for full time positions. Flexible and family friendly scheduling for those with family obligations.

Locations served include Waynesboro, Augusta County, Staunton City, Rockingham County, Harrisonburg, Shenandoah County, Winchester and surrounding areas (new location being served).

Company Description
Virginia Autism Spectrum Services’ provides support in the home and community setting. Goals and objective are addressed using a natural environment teaching and direct instruction utilizing the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis. Licensed Behavior Analysts (LBAs) complete all assessments, write goals and objectives for the client’s Individualized Service Plan (ISP) and Behavior Support Plan (BSP) in collaboration with the client and family, and directly supervise Registered Behavior Technicians. LBAs also provide parent training and supervision.

Registered Behavior Technicians work directly with clients, implementing skill acquisition programs and recording data each session. Services are supervised by a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA). The LBA conducts ongoing assessments to measure skill acquisition and mastery. Areas of focus include the development of communication skills, daily living skills, social skills, leisure skills, basic learner skills, and problematic behavior reduction while teaching appropriate replacement behavior. Virginia Autism Spectrum Services employees are trained to address the goals and objectives of the Individual Support Plan (ISP) while demonstrating techniques for the family members in order for the client to generalize skills and maintain progress. Any progress or regression is reviewed through extensive data collection on a weekly basis.
