Job Description

Summary:


The Repair Order Coordinator role is responsible for the coordination of all materials repair, stock, and sales distribution management requirements, while principally focused on WASI operation. Additionally, the Repair Order Coordinator will support the sales function and act in an account management perspective for all outlets to facilitate and promote material sales.



Responsibilities:

  • Handle all repair management activities associated with WASI owned and consigned material as well as WAML and WERC client material.
  • Account management of all repair vendors and works with the sales team to secure sales against repaired material or identification of material to be sent to repair to aid consumption.
  • Repair contract & pricing negotiations as appropriate; raise repair orders within the Quantum system.
  • Responsible and accountable for the management of effective stock replenishment to ensure availability of parts in repaired saleable condition, as per stock holding policy.
  • Ensure stock is turned on a first in first out basis where possible.
  • Responsible and accountable for all aspects of the repair of piece part material to a saleable condition, including defining the scope of work, review of inspection reports and quotations for approval or denial in accordance with technical and commercial requirements and return of parts to designated locations.
  • Ensure that all aspects of the repair management process, including work scope, quotation details, certification details are recorded accurately within the Quantum database in accordance with policy and procedures.
  • Maintain and ensure accuracy of repair condition and records for stock held within Quantum.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of the repair standards and airworthiness notices associated with each engine type WASI manage / own.
  • Responsible for the identification of vendor options for specific part numbers. Also responsible for the selection of piece part repair vendors, ensuring quality and best prices, ownership of key vendor contract negotiation and for the performance management for piece part repair vendors.
  • Provide approval of all supplier invoices in line with the approved Repair Order costs.
  • Responsible and accountable for effective management of TAT’s within Quantum and for the provision of timely and accurate delivery of piece part repairs.
  • Responsible and accountable for scrap material management at repair vendors and WASI and WERC warehouse locations as per technical, commercial, and quality requirements.
  • Produce listings of scrap material, obtain relevant authorizations, create sales order for removal (if applicable) and remove stock from Quantum.
  • Compile customer stock reports and performing comparisons of stock held within Quantum vs Customer
  • Develop reports of parts held in quarantine, organizing, and conducting meetings, distributing actions, and chasing.
  • Perform reconciliation of stock at the end of WASI teardowns; Cross check to verify all stock received vs those expected at the end of a teardown (Manifest check) and further launch of material to repair and/or WLFC / WASI/ Customer stock.
  • Coordinate with the logistics team in the US & UK to ensure logistics and customs requirements are appropriately managed.


Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar repair/materials management role.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Technical, financial, and commercial knowledge of repairs across CFM56 and V25 engine types is advantageous.
  • Self-motivated with strong project management skills.
  • Attention to detail and quality in performing duties.
  • Ability to work under stressful conditions with multiple priorities.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Computer literate and proficient with MS Office (Experienced use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook).
  • Experienced in the use of Component Control - Quantum


Travel/Misc.:

  • Involves travel to repair vendors and materials sales outlets and to WASI HQ in Florida, USA.
