This role is responsible for identifying and implementing new technologies, workflows, and production solutions that improve efficiency, quality, scalability, and collaboration across the organization. The Director continuously evaluates industry trends, emerging tools, AI-enabled workflows, and technical innovations to ensure A+E remains operationally effective and future-focused.
This position requires a leader who can balance creative needs, technical requirements, operational efficiency, and business priorities while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

  • Oversee post-production operations, finishing, delivery, asset management, and quality control standards, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and scalability across workflows.
  • Serve as the primary production and post-production partner to Creative, Digital Content, Editorial, Production Operations, Technology, and senior leadership, aligning production capabilities with business and content priorities.
  • Drive workflow optimization, technical innovation, and adoption of new production technologies, AI-enabled tools, and operational solutions to improve efficiency, collaboration, and scalability.
  • Oversee resource planning and production capacity across Digital Production functions.

  • 7-10 years of experience in marketing production, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role. Experience working with content requiring elevated legal, standards, or reputational oversight.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing production and post-production teams through clear expectations, accountability, and effective talent management.
  • Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience partnering with senior leadership, creative teams, editorial teams, and technical partners.
  • Demonstrated expertise in production operations, post-production workflows, resource planning, budget management, and operational risk mitigation.
  • Deep understanding of digital content production, video finishing, asset management, quality control, and multi-platform delivery requirements.
  • Ability to oversee high-volume production environments while balancing competing priorities, deadlines, and business objectives.
  • Experience evaluating, implementing, and optimizing production technologies, workflow solutions, and emerging tools-including AI-enabled workflows-to improve efficiency and scalability.

  • Proven ability to identify operational gaps, recommend technical solutions, and drive continuous improvement across production and post-production functions.
